Position Description:
Internal Audit-IT is the functional audit group within Internal Audit responsible for auditing IT across all business groups within our client's organization. While regionally based, Internal Audit-IT operates a global team approach to auditing, pooling resources based upon skillset. We are looking to appointment an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead and manage our client's Internal Audit-IT team, responsible for undertaking both Pre and Post-Implementation system reviews and in-depth Infrastructure audits within the our client's environment. Responsibilities include: * Establish annual IT Audit operational plan for our client and support the Head of Internal Audit-IT in its execution. * Lead and manage Internal Audit-IT team for our client ensuring (i) effective risk-based IT Audit coverage (ii) quality and timeliness of audit work, including report writing (iii) track progress of corrective actions instigated (iv) adherence with Internal Audit internal standards/metrics and (v) effective maintenance of both technical and application systems knowledge of staff. * Maintain and enhance effective relationships with our client's IT community, identifying emerging issues and areas of audit involvement. Represent Internal Audit-IT effectively on both IT and business-group governance committees where applicable. * Ensure the continued implementation of the 'integrated' audit approach with the business audit lines through managing, co-ordination and planning. Ensure synergies between IT and business auditors and be able to effectively coordinate with Divisional Audit Management. * Ensure the Internal Audit-IT 'global team' approach is adopted through effective co-ordination, planning and execution of global reviews and sharing of resources throughout the group. * Maintain effective relationships with external audit and regulatory bodies where applicable. |

*Requirements/credentials: 
|
o Significant experience in managing an IT Audit group. Currently holding Sr position within either IT Internal Audit or IT External Audit.
o Strong general banking product knowledge, together with a detailed understanding of all aspects of production IT (including distributed and mainframe technology), System Development and IT Internal Control processes. o Graduate degree (technical subject) and CISA or other adequate auditing qualification required. o Must be able to motivate and lead by example. Drive and commitment are essential. o Must be able to liaise with senior IT management and establish effective business relationships, influence others, conduct interviews and/or meetings, make presentations. o Must possess strong analytical and writing skills to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over key IT risks, identify significant exposures, analyze transactions and other management information and detect changes in key risks and/or control effectiveness, develop appropriate recommendations. o Ability to take initiative. Is enthusiastic and self-motivated and a team player who sets individual goals and objectives for the team that are consistent with those of the group. Is dependable and meets deadlines. Is customer focused, and acts with integrity and honesty. o Must be a team player and build effective relationships with both other Internal Audit divisions and IT personal. |
