*Responsibilities/duties: 
|
Our client is an assurance and tax services firm, providing audit and tax services to a broad range of clients. The Business Management Process is the firm's risk based audit methodology. BMP transforms the audit process from a traditional compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to assess how a client's business risks affect financial statements. This approach offers a more comprehensive view of how a client's unique risk environment effects its financial reporting.
Auditors measure performance, analyze business processes and the risks that threaten performance, and determine how these factors affect financial statements. By using BMP, audit teams can understand and document a client's business, including its strategy, business process, and competitive advantage. This enables the team to help create a client specific business model to document its understanding and relate audit focus to areas of risk. Responsibilities: * Planning and executing day-to-day activities of audit engagements * Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners * Identifying performance improvement opportunities for clients served * Interacting with client to help ensure the information flow from client to audit team is efficient * Supervising of audit staff assigned to engagements, including performance reviews * Working with audit team to develop hourly budgets and fee analysis |

*Requirements/credentials:

These positions require a CPA and 3-5 years of recent independent auditing experience in any of the following industries: Financial Services, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Entertainment, Media, Consumer and Industrial Markets. Also required is strong experience with and strong knowledge of SEC rules and regulations. | |||
