*Responsibilities/duties: 
|
As an Audit Project Manager for our client, you will be responsible for leading a team of audit consultants in the planning and execution of independent financial/operational audits to evaluate internal control processes in a variety of business areas throughout our client's organization. You'll be responsible for setting team expectations, coaching, managing performance and overseeing all aspects of the audit (e.g., assessing risk, defining scope of audits and resolving issues). You will work in partnership with business area management to communicate expectations and manage any issues that might arise during the audit. You will also work with internal audit's senior management in the development of the risk assessment process and audit strategy for the department. | |||

*Requirements/credentials: 
|
This position requires a BS or BA with at least 4-5 years of related experience. You must also possess:
- Good written and verbal communication skills - A good understanding of risk management and controls - Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes, financial statements and their interrelationships - The ability to solve problems by identifying the root cause of control gaps - CPA, CIA, CISA and/or CFE desirable, but not required |
